This is the first album of new material in nearly a decade by these Blues/Rock
innovators. I had the pleasure of touring with singer/songwriter Lonesome Dave
Peverett for 4 years prior to Foghat reforming with their original lineup. The
track "Play Dirty" was co-written by Dave and I.
This is the 3rd Dr. Hector record I have worked on and it features as always
bandleader Dru Lumbar's silky slide guitar work and powerful voice. A great set
of new material.....Blues with a touch of R&B.
This is my 3rd time in the producer's chair for the kings of "Florida Swamp
Blues" and in my opinion their best record to date. The reviewer for "Living
Blues" magazine considered it one of the years best blues releases and further
endorsement by "Howard Stern" had us all grinning.
This benefit album produced by bassist Riff West (Molly Hatchet / Foghat)
