This is Kenny's first album on "Alligator" and a rerelease of the "King Snake"
album "Bio on the Bayou". It was also the beginning of a long friendship with
Kenny and I.
Thus is Lucky's first album for "Alligator". I can still remember our first
session together..the sheer musical talent of Lucky made my jaw drop and still
blows my mind today.
Noble's career began in New York in the '50's with instrumental hits "Jookin'"
and "Hard Times". Since his move to Florida many years ago he has been a good
friend and constant session player at the studio. I had the pleasure of touring
with him in the early '80's and can still remember trying to get those swinging
Billy Butler licks just right. This "Return of" album was his first release in
many years.
