Blizzard of 2003

It snowed for 2 days on President's Day weekend in 2003. Here is what we saw when we opened the garage door. Yes, the snow drift was about 18 inches deep next to the door.

The Truck is too big to fit in the garage, and it nearly got buried. The snow next to it is about 30 inches deep. The snow on the hood is even with the top of the Truck and the bed is more than full of snow.

Our neighbor's small truck which was parked on the street did get buried. Notice the mailbox across the street.

Here's the view down the street from our house. It's going to be a couple more days until everyone is dug out.

The storm wasn't all bad. The tree at the corner of the house looks very nice.

Fred posed with the shovel in his version of American Gothic. Curly helped him dig out the driveway.
