Karma, Reincarnation and Time
These are three very interesting topics for me. They can't survive with out each other, but I don't believe in the current "Time" concept, so how can the other two which I really thought to be an important part of spirituality, exist? Ok, ok. Let me start a little slower.
Karma is like a payback system for the way that YOU personaly act in life. I feel that Jesus tried to teach karmic ways in his life time. Treating others with kindness and respect, not beleiving that he was better or above any other person on the planet. The idea put simply is the way you treat others is the way others will treat you. Jesus loved everyone. How could everyone not love him? The same is true in each of our lives. If you love and care for those around you, they in turn will love and care for you. Too many people today have the attitude that they need only look out for themselves, because there is no one else there to do it. That is a shame. They need only to reach out to their neighbor, their brother in life.
Reincarnation is a belief that when your current body dies, your soul is reborn into a new body. This is a widely varied concept in spirituality. Some faiths beleive that your soul starts out it's journey as a tree and evolves into animal and then human forms. Some faiths stay with in the human boundry on rebirth of the soul, but believe that karma plays an important role in the lives that you are given, or that you choose. How you act towards the universe will make a definate impact, including physical manifestations of the body, on your next incarnation.
Now, I really did have strong feelings on reincarnation. The book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible and other sources laid a good foundation for a recurring cycle of life and birth. But then I started thinking about the whole Time thing.
Time, as we know it, is only a reality on our planet. Out in space and on other planets Time takes on another form. I realize that while here we are bound by the rules that apply, but I also believe that where we are going we either control these rules, or they do not apply. So, I guess you could say that Time is not a reality. Only a manifestation. I guess that means we really could control it, if we knew how. If we opened up our minds enough to beleive that we could. You see how this train of thought puts a damper on the reincarnation thing?
If Time doen't really exist, then how can we have these lives that we learn from? They must all, somehow, be happening at the same time. If that's the case, how does Karma really play into the whole thing? Could that explain sudden changes in a persons life, the actions of his soul in another period at that same time? What exactly is the lesson that God has for us to learn on this rock that we call home? How many times do we get to try and learn it? Is there a way to take an express course? These are the kinds of questions I have.
I think we are on the right track today with our reversion back to some of the old ways of thinking and healing. I agree with the fact that body alignment and frequency are very important to your current state of health. Simple things like music and laughter can truely heal the soul. I also believe it is crucial that you are honest with yourself, know yourself, and respect yourself. Just as you should do to others.
I also believe that once we truely become our brother's keeper, we will accomplish things as a race that will far surpass any civilization to date, on record or off.
