Biographical Information
Chris grew up in Anaheim, California. He left as soon as he graduated from high school to see the world via the Air Force. He lived in Texas and North Carolina for training, but moved to his favorite location - Germany, where he got to ski the Alps and ride his bike along the roads of France. He was transferred to Mississippi, then Colorado, and then North Dakota. He got married to his first love in Mississippi, but she turned out to have a few other loves on the side, so they were divorced, leaving him single to date those wholesome North Dakota girls.

After six years of avionics, he left to return to Anaheim and the family business. It turned out that air conditioners weren't in his blood after all and he was back to working on  airplanes in Oregon (after a short stint as a camp counselor in Minnesota.) Newly married, he faithfully followed his antsy wife to Las Vegas, where he again landed a good airplane mechanic job.  With the birth  of their first baby, the family decided to put family values over the glitz of the strip and all moved to North Dakota. After a month of airplane work with a crotchety old man, he quit to do technical support for Gateway 2000. He has since expanded his technical knowledge to several brands of computers, doing support for Best Buy.  Having moved to Washington, he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue in the technology field, or if he wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a chef.  He tried working in a British restaurant for 6 months, but his bad back and hip caused too much pain, so he'll just be a hobby chef.  For the time being, he's got his hands full being an awesome dad to three awesome boys.
Heidi grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota. She left as soon as she graduated from high school for a summer in Washington, D.C.  She returned to Moorhead, MN for college in the fall, but left for Orlando, Florida the next summer.  A romantic break-up and her ties to the Midwest lured her back to Minnesota for school in the fall, which was her "homebase" if she wasn't at Camp Birchwood in the summers, Oxford, England on an exchange program, Stavanger, Norway student teaching, or traveling to Manzinillo, Mexico for fun.

Her first teaching job was in Pollock, SD. Although the job was perfect for a first-year, single teacher, antsy Heidi left in the spring to get her graduate degree from Univ. of ND, where she met her future husband. They lived in California, Minnesota, Oregon, Nevada, North Dakota, and Washington in their first four years of marriage!!! Living in Oregon, managing a complex of townhomes was great since they lived so close to Heidi's mom, but no teaching jobs in Oregon forced them to move to Nevada.  In Las Vegas, she found out she was pregnant and got very sick (a bad gall bladder)and was put on bed rest. The Principal was less than sympathetic and Heidi realized Las Vegas was not the place for a family.  Davin was born in April and by October the growing family had moved to North Dakota. While Heidi looked for a teaching job in North Dakota, she did technical support for Microsoft Excel, Office Setup, Team Manager, Project, and Project VBA.  None of this lead to a teaching job, but it did lead to an awesome job as Project Specialist and a promotion to Project Manager in Redmond, WA.  Unfortunately, the company suffered from poor management and the poor economy and was closed when Heidi was 8 months pregnant with her third child.

After a few months of baby bonding, Heidi found her first consulting job (which lasted 6 months) and she is currently working on a contract at AT&T Wireless.  In her spare time, she is extremely involved in her son's PTA where she acts as Secretary and Chris is Treasurer.
Davin Andrew was born on April 29, 1997 in Las Vegas.  He was two weeks late and weighed 10lbs 13oz.  He looked just like his Uncle Chad.  He was an active little guy, visiting all the Las Vegas sites, driving to Los Angeles to see his paternal extended family, flying to San Fransisco and to Minnesota to see his maternal aunts and uncles.  Overall, he covered 5 states in five months.  His favorite activities include swimming (since one month old), playing computer games, and going to the park.  He never did crawl and started talking very late.  Now he talks a mile a minute.  His parents worked split shifts for most of his first two years, sending him to daycare only to find out he needed too much attention for them.  However, once he turned two and lived in Washington, he attended a great daycare in Woodinville for a whole year.   Since then, his daddy has been home to take care of him.   Now, Davin is an outstanding reader and is doing fabulous work as a 1st grader.
Erik Anders was born on May 16th, 2001.  He was born via a scheduled c-section and weighed 11lbs 10oz.  He was the second largest baby our doctor had ever delivered (she was very happy we chose to have a c-section.)  He was a very even tempered baby, but was most content being held in someone's arms.  As Erik grew into his own personality, he became unbelievably happy.  People always comment on his constant smile and charm.  Like his brother, he was a late bloomer for talking.  He loves to help daddy cook in the kitchen, to play outside, and to read books.
Mika Andreas was born on August 16, 2002.  He was also a c-section and weighed 9lbs 5oz (his weight at week one was 8lbs 10oz).  Although he has brown hair and doesn't really look like his mom or dad, he does have the same blue eyes that his brothers and dad have.   As much as Erik encompassed joy, Mika is filled with contemplation and concern.  It will be interesting to read his poetry someday.
Andy was born on September 1, 2003.   He was named in accordance with his brothers' middle names.  He is a great little puppy and is teaching the boys to show respect and kindness towards all creatures.
