OK, so I had a little too much time on my hands this morning.
This just in ...
On the heels of the news that has crushed 10,234,632 teenage hearts around the world, yet some more devastating news from the *NSYNC camp.
Chris Kirkpatrick, *NSYNC member and founder/CEO of his own clothing line, FuMan Skeeto Productions, was injured in the line of duty on his second job. While sewing a piece of clothing at the FuMan Skeeto factory in Los Angeles, California, Kirkpatrick pricked his finger and lost three pints of blood. After fainting and losing consciousness, he was quickly revived by bandmate JC Chasez and is now in stable condition.
JC Chasez used the skills he learned with Resuci-Annie, the doll used to teach mouth-to-mouth and CPR in First Aid courses, to revive Kirkpatrick. However, Chasez has been in some trouble with the law. Sources say that Chasez was admitted to Detox over the weekend for an alcohol problem. Police reports say that he was arrested after his blood alcohol level exceeded the state limits, after applying heavy doses of Vodka and Gin to the mouth of the Annie doll and drinking heavily. Chasez was released on $50,000 bail which was paid by bandmate Lance Bass.
Lance Bass was arrested on Saturday, July 8 at the Orlando Zoo, after apparently trying to mate with two monkeys in the Primates exhibit. Fellow *NSYNC member Joey Fatone describes what happened. "We were standing there, watching the orangutans and the chimps, when all of a sudden Lance started crying. I asked him what was wrong, and he said that having his ferret and chinchillas on tour made him long for a relationship. He felt his paternal instincts growing stronger, and he needed a woman. The tour guide pointed out the two females in the Primates exhibit, and Lance jumped over the fence immediately and began doing the bump and grind with the bigger chimp. It was devastating to see." Bass, who is being held for questioning, refuses to give up any information until he has Lucy the Chimp and four pounds of bananas delivered to him.
Joey Fatone, who was at the scene of Saturday's zoo crime, was reportedly seen at the Gay 90s in Minneapolis dancing with Boy George.
