after receiving your High School Diploma.
I dreamed of seeing you off to college.
I dreamed of you being the "Cardiac Surgeon"
that you dreamed of being when you grew up.
I dreamed of seeing you walk down the aisle hand-in-hand
with the man of your dreams.
I dreamed of the title "Grandma" you'd give me
after the birth of your first child,
just as you gave me the title "MOM".
My dreams for you, went on and on.
So many dreams yet to be fullfilled.
There was never an end to all the dreams
