Keeping Cool...

During his first day on the OLTL set, Brock Cuchna (Paul) got a little overheated. "My first scene was with all the Cramer women," recalls the Chicago native. "They all had their chemistry, and I was so intimidated since it was my first acting job. I was wearing a leather jacket and I was nervous and sweating." Luckily, one of Cuchna's new co-stars was there to cool him down. "Between the rehearsal and actual taping, Kassie DePaiva (Blair) was fanning me," he laughs. "She said, 'Look, you've already got the job; now everybody just wants you to do well.' I was just trying to keep the sweat out of my eyes -- they couldn't put enough powder on me that day!" Now that the Notre Dame grad is setting in to his role, he's hoping to get some feedback from the audience. "I've had a good response so far," he concludes, "but that's been from my mom, dad and brother, so I'm waiting to hear from someone who isn't related to me to see how things are going!"
