Judas had betrayed Jesus with a kiss.
After much suffering, Jesus was nailed to the cross in Golgatha next to two criminals. His garments were dispersed by casting lots. The soldiers put Jesus' charge against him on his cross. It said, "This is Jesus, the king of the Jews." The criminals and soldiers tested Jesus to get Himself off the cross if he was the Son of God. Jesus just assured them he was the Son of God.
When Mary Magdalen and the other Mary went to see Jesus' tomb, he was not there. An angel told them he had resurrected and that they should tell His disciples that He would be seen in Galilee.
