I talked myself into buying this cool little manicure set. It was a real impulse buy, something I almost never do. Basically I was being really girlie and caved into my feminine side =). But hey, I'm entitled to moments of weakness every now and then...lol. Besides I really think it was the groovy metal case it came in that sold me. It's all neatly organized (which I love) with all it's nail polish and nail "stuff" in it's own little place. Ok now, here's the problem with it. All that nail stuff, I can't seem to figure out. There's all these midevil looking tools, nail devices, and weird lotions. I haven't a clue. You'd think it would have come with instructions for the beauty aid inept...lol Ok so I am completely hopeless =)

We had our second really real critique in class tonight. It went very well. Everybody liked my pic (cheesy grin) and I was fairly happy with how it turned out. I seem to be getting better with each class. Which I guess IS the point =) Of course it took me over ten hours of drawing to complete it. Ten hours of almost straight drawing. For I once again didnt start the assignment until the last possible moment. But this time it wasnt really my fault, really....lol. We were suppose to do a still life. And I could not for the life of me find anything that was inspiring enough or interesting enough in my house to draw. I kept walking around the house picking up objects putting them back down. I almost felt like I was in some sort of creative daze. This went on for most of the week. Finally out of desperation I forced myself to pick some objects. The pic somehow fell together after that. Yeah.......
Well that's about for me. I'm sorry this is so short. I have alot on my mind right now, dont really feel like sharing....maybe next time
