It never fails......of course the second I go back to work, the second I set my foot into the building. The clouds break and the sun has been shining strong ever since..........grrrrrr. Some sort of cruel Murphy's Law. It's like a million degree's in my house right now. A million degree's and it's 10:00 at night, something very wrong about that. Almost as wrong as the fact I'm sitting here in front of my office window with no shirt on trying to catch the faintest hint of a breeze on my skin. Very sad, oh so very sweaty. All I want to do is good to bed. Thinking seriously of taking a clod shower and not toweling off before climbing into my bed. Hmmm, that would probably feel lovely with my mini fan on.
Last night was fun. After alot of running around and helping some friends move. Katie and Karla came over for a girls night slash Katie's birthday party. I went out and got take out from Katie's fav resturants. So we had lots of yummy Thai food from the Thai House, and then of course prime rib and all the fixings from the Turtle Club. I baked a big german chocolate cake and gave Katie her Iris picture, with she liked. We watched "How to lose a guy in 10 days". Funny movie, and of course Matthew McConaughey, I could eat that boy up with a spoon....... |
