| I stayed up way to late last night. Finished up the new Harry Potter book. It was a little darker then the other 4. But I enjoyed it for the most part. When I awoke (way to early for a normal person) I was in the middle of a Harry Potter dream, I have no idea why......lol. Had something to do with hiding in the girls bathroom, not wanting to be turned into a chicken. I gotta stop reading before going to bed. Always ends up in my dreams. Anyways the late night made the going up to the land this morning to stack logs all the more exciting. I swear this land clearing thing is never ending. Two people just arnt enough for the amount of work we are trying to accomplish. If it wasnt for the fact that in the end we will have a beautiful house on our beautiful tree covered peice of land. I'd light a match and slash and burn the whole thing. Can't tell you how excited I was to have it start raining. Lol, I know thats bad, but I really needed a nap. No more late night reading for me I think. Came home, took a nice looooong shower with my honey. (you know, had to wash the saw dust off our bodies) Then curled up in bed, while he espn. I'm sure that sounds lame, but there are a few sports talk shows I don't mind watching. Besides we weren't watching tv the whole time. Had a little fun with ice cream in bed, something I think every one should try at least once....lol. I did manage to get my nap in, though a very short one. When I got up I started to draw an iris picture I want to give to Katie for her birthday. It turned out ok, but I think I might try a few more before I find one worthy enough to give away. I'm using charcoals, not only beacuse I love working with them. But because I want the picture to be very dark. I also want it close up, with an almost abstract feel to it. Didn't quite get there on my first attempt. Flower is to small, either that or my paper is to big......lol, I'll figure it out. |
