a person's best friend... |

Well, here he is... my dog, Turf. i know that Turf seems like a strange name for a dog, but there is a reason behind that. (there is a reason behind all my insanity) Turf is actually the family dog, and he's also the shop dog at the golf course where my dad is Superintendant. He needed a golfy name if he was going to be out on the course every day with dad. My parents had already owned a dog named Divit, so that name was taken. Turf just sounded right i guess. But we still run into the odd person who thinks we're calling our dog "Turd". |

It is a proven fact, however, that my dog is insane.... |

I guess he just takes after the family. But he's one of the best friends a person could ever have. He's really smart, even though he believes himself to be half cat and half human. He dosn't bark much at all, and when he does you know it's something important. He can tell when someone is smaller than him and dosn't play roughly. He has a soft mouth; he would carry around his "brother" Thomas (the shop cat) by the scruff of the neck with no ill effects to the cat. And he will not run through a sand trap. Dad has taught him well. : ) |
