Too many times we hear Pagans, most of them Wiccan, make all sorts of ridiculous claims. Some claim that the old ways were destroyed, and that what the old ones really believed cannot now be known. Others claim that Wicca is the old religion of the Celts, or the Norse, or the Romans, or ___add your favorite flavor___. Many Wiccans claim that they are the priesthood of the pagan people, while the whole of the religion stands against principles. To be fair though, it's not Wicca that is the problem. It is so many of the Wiccans, and other pagans, who refuse to accept that there is right and wrong.

   In fact Wicca represents the worst case of nihilism in modern society. Wicca is spiritual tofu. The adherants of this New Age wholly syncretic religion are theological Borg bent on assimilating whatever pretty images sets they feel like stealing from traditional religions. The so called scholars and authors who present sheer fallacy as fact, are more guilty than the Inquisitors of old for rewriting history and thus hiding and contributing to the demise of traditional paganism.
