Myrtle Massey Taylor, 69, of 602 Spring Street, Clinton, died Thursday at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. An Anderson County native, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lucy Massey. Her husband, Tensley Taylor preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Bart Junior Taylor of Lake City; stepdaughters, Doris Thompson of Clinton; Glenda Faye York of Powell and Frankie Lou Robertson of Athens; stepsons, Jerry Lee Taylor of Oak Ridge; Ellis Junior Taylor and Leonard Douglas Taylor of Powell; Johnny Edward Taylor of Nashville; two grandchildren, several step grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday night at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bedford Bullock officiating. Burial was on Monday at Sunset Cemetery.
