Herbert Taylor,69, of Lake City died Wednesday at Lake City Health Care Center.

He was the son of the late Jim and Sabry Chastain Taylor. Brothers, Joe, D.O., Ralph and Wayne Taylor and a sister, Jacqueline Grace Taylor, preceded him in death.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, James and Inez Taylor of McDonald; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Walter Gebert and Eula and Robert Henderson of Lake City; nephews, Jimmy Taylor, Bobby, David and Paul Henderson; three nieces, Lawana Henley, Inez Bogusty and Beatrice Hutchinson.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Taylor and the Rev. Carl Bradshaw officiating. Burial was in Island Ford Cemetery.
