Bonnie I. Taylor, 78, of Briceville died Feb. 28 in St. Mary’s Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Doyle Taylor, and her parents, Robert F. and Effie Taylor Johnson.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church in Briceville, the Briceville FCE Club and Women’s Missionary Union.

Survivors include two sons, Lyndell Taylor of Murrieta, CA; and Roger Taylor of Briceville; a daughter, Lou Allen of Victorville, CA; two sisters, Irene Hendren and Ann M. Johnson, both of South Clinton; two half sisters, Ruby Slover and Bobbie Jennings, both of Dutch Valley; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday in Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City with the Rev. Rick Teague and the Rev. Troy Christopher officiating. Burial will be in Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
