Annie Lee Tate, 81, of Oliver Springs, died Tuesday in Oliver Springs.
Her parents were the late Baxter Bayne and Mary Manis Bayne. Mrs. Tate was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Lenoir City. She had lived in Oliver Springs for 40 years, where she was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Her husband, Markus Paul Tate, and a daughter, Betty Jean Tate, preceded her in death.
Survivors include nine children, Maxine Craig, Lenoir City; Gladys Powers and husband Paul Powers, of Harriman; Paul Tate Jr. of Ohio; Geneva Cupps of Lexington, KY; Jaunita Huston and husband, Clyde of Ten Mile; Joyce and husband, Bob of Oliver Springs; James Tate and wife, Kathy, of Oak Hill, FL; Opal Williams of Oliver Springs and Henrietta Helton and husband, Jim of New Smyrna Beach, FL; 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Combs officiating. Burial was in Emory Heights Cemetery.
