A former resident of Lake City and Oneida, Mrs. Ethel Sharp Tackett, 89, of Moraine City, Ohio, died Saturday in a Kettering, Ohio hospital.

Mrs. Tackett was the widow of Earl Tackett who died in 1969. She had been a resident of Moraine City for several years. Mrs. Tackett is survived by a son, Roy Tackett of Jacksonville, FL; four daughters, Bernice Jenkins of Hazelwood, NC; Frankie White, Sue Jones and Ruth Durham, all of Dayton, OH; a sister, Lydia Byrd of Oak Ridge.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Martin Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Virgil Tackett officiating. Burial was in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
