William Edgar (Dandy) Sharp, 60, of Laurel Hollow Road, Clinton, died Wednesday at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mr. Sharp was born Dec. 27, 1933, in Anderson County to Ed and Pauline Webber Sharp.

He was a member of the Atomic Beagle Club and also enjoyed gardening. Mr. Sharp was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Lively Sharp of Clinton; daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and Jody Smith; sons, Scott Sharp , all of Clinton; Eddie Sharp of Kentucky; granddaughter, Kari L. Smith, mother, Pauline Sharp; sisters, Patsy Taylor, all of Clinton; Jean Wiser of Dallas, Texas; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were conducted Friday at the Grandview Memorial Garden by the Rev. Kenneth Sharp. Full military honors were presented by the Tennessee Volunteer State Honor Guard. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
