Audrey Mae (Mrs. Audrey) Sharp, 80,
a retired school
teacher died Monday at Lake City Health Care Center. Her home was on
Andersonville Highway
(State 61) in Andersonville.
Sharp attended Tennessee Wesleyan
College and was graduated
from the University of Tennessee. She taught 34 years at Andersonville
Elementary School and two
years at Glen Alpine Elementary.
An Anderson County native, she was
born July 19, 1912 to
the late Michael and Laura M. Snoderly Lambdin.
She was preceded in
death by four
brothers, Lester, Walter, Arthur and Charles Lambdin.
The funeral
was Wednesday at Holley-
Gamble Funeral Home chapel in Clinton with the Rev. Debra Watson
officiating. Burial was in
Andersonville Cemetery.
She leaves her husband, Fred Sharp, and a
sister, Jennie Lee
Craig of Andersonville.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton, was in
charge of
arrangements.
