Thanksgiving Recipes

I make a point of trying to get out cooking Thanksgiving dinner each year. However, my mother lives two states away, generally either me or my husband end up having to work 3 or 4 hours, my sisters and brothers (lots...) live too far away, and my mother-in-law, well, she invites us. Let's leave it at that. We go to her house about every other year. (Oh lordy, let me check the calendar? Do we go on even or odd years?)

When I can't wriggle my way out, I....COOK. Which means I have to pretend I know what I'm doing. Here's some recipes I've collected which may or may not work (for instance, I would rather skip Thanksgiving altogether than make Sweet Potato Souffle, but I included it for you masochists)
