Bösendorfer International Piano Academy
…will offer exciting opportunities to students (junior high
and above), teachers, and observers through private lessons, master
classes, and a final concert for the participants.Participants can audition for lessons with Wolfgang Watzinger, Professor of Piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
The Academy features tours of Vienna and its environs, including composers’
homes, various world famous museums, and historic sites. There will be numerous opportunities to attend concert and opera performances in the
world-renowned Musikverein and Staatsoper.
Included in the Program Fee:
- Tuition.
The
Bösendorfer piano company will provide new grand pianos for practice
opportunities and performances during the Academy. The company will
also provide the practice rooms, classrooms, and concert hall.
- Five-star resident-hotel apartments, located near the Vienna Woods,
include a kitchenette and full bath for the duration of the Academy, double occupancy.
- Transportation pass (valid on buses, subways, and trams) includes
unlimited rides for the entire month of June.
Program Fee:
- Euro 2,870. Information on program fee for those who do not need hotel and practice facilities is available upon request.
- Air fare is not included in the program fee, but will be arranged as a
discounted group fare.
- Opportunities to visit Salzburg, Budapest, and Prague will be available at an additional cost of approximately Euro 150 each.
