Ranma 1/2 Z Neo: The Epilogue
Trunks’s Notes

*An excerpt from Trunks’ Journal*

The strangers, the ones who were originally trying to kidnap all of the Saiyajins, formerly introduced themselves and apologized today. They had been staying in their ship while they recovered from the fight. There are three who had no idea of Argos: Jet Stream Bolero and his sister Tempo, whom we fought, and the doctor Syme Ode, whom we did not. They explained to us that they had been told their world was destroyed by Argos, and that they must bring glory to their race... Though, as Jet Stream pointed out, Argos probably lied to them, and their planet Zeal is still entirely intact. They mean to leave as soon as they can to find out such. Kidnapping Otousan^ and the Sons was also Argos’s idea, probably actually an attempt to provide Argos with more energy if necessary. (When this was mentioned, ’Kaasan^^ had to tell ‘Tousan to leave the room. He was getting to angry.) ’Kaasan gave the three some advice, and the doctor traded information with her for a while. They plan to leave tomorrow for their home planet.

In other news, the kids from the past have fully recovered their strength. ‘Kaasan tells me it will be impossible to restrain their Super Saiyajin abilities again in what little time she has until they leave (though she claims she could certainly do so if she had more time). Now, every time they turn SSJ, their transformation includes highlights in their hair and a change of eye color. The first time they showed me, I was impressed. I wish I had seen the fight. Anyway, they plan on going home tomorrow. Akane has spent all of today wondering how to keep her father from going frantic over her new ring. Ranma and Ryouga spent today trying out the gravity room again. ‘Tousan wasn’t too pleased that he had to wait another day. Which reminds me, ‘Kaasan explained to him and the others that it may take a while for their full SSJ powers to completely return, probably another day or two. ~That~ got ‘Tousan really upset. Ukyou has meanwhile kidnapped all of Okaasan’s cooking books and is reading them as I write, memorizing every new recipe she can get her hands on. I’m tempted to join her. ‘Kaasan won’t let me do much of anything yet; she says it’ll take another three days for the talsiovirus to run its course. And now I’ve run out of comic books and manga to read. I think I’ll go work in the lab for a while. No one will bother me there.

This morning I let ‘Kaasan drag me to this old museum. Actually, I couldn’t get out of it, because I’m still not allowed to train yet, and she said she thought it would do me good to get outside and go somewhere quiet. Anyway, it turned out to be an interesting trip - between all of the re-construction work, there were a few good exhibits. The only really notable one, though, was a miniature Grand Piano music box, which plays the most remarkable music. It also sported the sign, and I quote,
“Owned by the best martial artist of the late 20th and early
21rst century, Ranma Saotome, given to him by his wife Akane
as a wedding present.”
Who would have guessed? Guess they like music.

Author’s notes
Wow, finally finished with the entire Ranma 1/2 Z Neo... Now what? Oh yeah, I think this is where I’m supposed to say my thanks to “all the little people” or something like that. Just kidding. That only works in Hollywood. So I’ll thank all the major people for the help they gave me. Thanks especially to Tony Chen, for starting the idea and allowing me to finish it, and to Fei-kun, for all the info he helped me find. I really wish I could list all the names of the people who I met through writing this and became friends with, but I kinda have to finish this sometime soon. Still, they know who they are. Also, thanks for every e-mail and guestbook entry I’ve gotten - you have no idea until you’ve actually written something how much it helps to get fan mail, or suggestions, or anything that tells you that people are actually reading your work and telling you what they think about it. I hope you (this is to everyone, not just those that have responded in some way to my work) have enjoyed this fanfic. I guess I only have one thing left to say now: ‘Bye for now!
