Rick Makes a Tough Call on CD!
(3/16/02) ... Reporting the news is not always the "Slacker's Paradise" we originally thought it would be when we started this gig. This week is a primo example of a time that we would have preferred to take a Cheap Shot to the Nuticles then to report that there will be NO EFX Soundtrack CD! Alas, Viv had the sad duty of sharing the word from Rick that "NO!! ...  they (MGM) don't want to take enough time with it." 

Now we here at the "DO" don't claim to have anything above a room temperature IQ, but even we can see that MGM is making an Dragon size mistake in not pursuing this project with gusto! We can only hope that the songs Rick penned for the show make it onto the new or antoher CD. The mere thought of it all is enough to make us take to our beds with one of our "Sick Headaches" ...

* For those who are new to the RLS Chat Lexicon, Beloved Karma Chat Reg, Chris/Mara Jade recently explained to the "DO" that "Googers" are Nuticles and "Gooters" are Female Nuticles!  Get it? Got it? Good! Now explain it to us? LMAO!

* Yikes!  When we ran to get our copy of SS during Chat, we inadvertently ran into RM's CD Tower and signed CD Inserts FLEW! Could we BE bigger Clods? (3/16)

* We mistakenly reported that Rick would be playing a Private Concert at our house this week. Our Therapist reminded us that this was not "News" per se, but simply wishful thinking on our part. She has since increased our medication and we expect no similar erroneous reports of this nature. (3/16)

Wagerworks Cashes Out! ... With a Points System that changed like an Friggin Etch-A-Sketch on a Tilt-A-Whirl, Wagerworks has announced that as of 3/11, they will begin the process of discontinuing awarding "prize points". Offering Double Points til 5/1 you now have til 6/17 to redeem your points. In retrospect we should have seen it coming when Schpankada started taking those mysterious midnight phone calls, gave us that "Yeah!
