Open sounds and audio devices in the Control Panel>audio tab>go under recording(click volume)>options>properties Change the device you use to record from (for mine I changed)Microphone to mono mix or stereo mix or another you use that can record from speakers.

you may have to try them all, would be most wise to start from bottom of the list to the top or mabe there is another form of "mix".
