There are interesting outtakes here (Not Gonna Be All Right, for example) and interesting alternate versions of songs which made it onto Peter's album Up Against It (You Don't Have To Close The Door with a duet and Insignificant with a band, for example).

Peter Stone Brown plays this show on the electric guitar with Jim Fogarty & The Tonebenders, which includes an electric guitar, bass, and drums. The only real problem with this recording is that Peter's voice unfortunately isn't as upfront as one would hope for. The band is very talented (Jim's guitar playing is very talented - check out Rockabilly Guy, Tombstone Blues, and You Don't Have To Close The Door) as they stick mainly to Peter's album songs (except for Wyoming and Bob Dylan's Tombstone Blues).
1. Up Against It

4. Matter Of The Heart
5. Rockabilly Guy

05/11/01 Tin Angel, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania : A- (A/A-)
This show has Peter Stone Brown on acoustic guitar with Larry Broido on electric lead guitar. Sold My Soul To Heaven and Farewell Angelina are both great.

6. Farewell Angelina - written by Bob Dylan
7. Matter Of The Heart
06/14/01 Tobacco Road, New York City, New York ("Tobacco Road") : A- (A-/A-)
Peter Stone Brown is a wonderful musician. In this concert he has teamed up with a great guitarist named Larry Broido, who plays the electric guitar while Peter plays the acoustic guitar and this works extremely well. Peter's vocals are very soothing at times, and his phrasing is very good. He opens this show with three wonderful cover songs, including a Bob Dylan cover. The other covers are also great, as is his original material. The only problem is that his voice isn't as upfront as one would hope.
Disc 1:
1. Roll On Buddy - written by unknown (traditional) - small gap at end

At this show, Peter Stone Brown plays on acoustic guitar and acoustic slide guitar, and Bob Nichols plays harmonica on some songs. Many of the songs are Peter Stone Brown singing solo acoustic. One of the highlights is a very impassioned Here On Earth. There are then three bonus tracks from Peter's house (which are, of course, in superb sound quality and are great performances).
