Hard To Find : A (A/A-)
This bootleg does contain a lot of material which has been copied from official releases. These official releases are somewhat hard to find, however. The songs on here are awesome; they really are great versions of the songs. The only song that shouldn't be here is the last track. The last track has no relation to Bob at all. It is sung by David Allan Coe and is about a girl and oral sex (and uses 'strong' language). But the rest of the bootleg is great.

20/20 Vision : B+ (B+/A-)
These are all fairly rare songs. For example, this is the only And It Stoned Me that Bob has performed without Van Morrison on shared vocals, this is only the third ever live version of In The Pines, and this is the only acoustic I'm In The Mood For Love ever. The discs are split by year: disc 1 contains material from '89 whereas disc 2 contains material from '91. Although the tracklisting looks awesome and like something you'd really want, unless you're familiar with the years '89 and '91, you might be surprised/disappointed; Bob's voice and style are VERY different, and a bit rough at times. For example, on the first two tracks on this bootleg (both from the same show), Bob just growls out the songs. I was disappointed at first, but now I love it. There are too many great songs to list.

Stick's Picks - Volume 2 : B+ (B+/B+)
The concept of this collection put together by a person over at the Dylanpool site was to put together great performances from 1993-1996, each one having a harmonica. Also, disc 1 is all acoustic and disc 2 is all electric (except for It Ain't Me, Babe). Being a fan project, it's understandable when something like the transitions from one track to another aren't perfect due to lots of clapping at the end of certain tracks. The songs here are all good selections, making this an enjoyable listen.
Disc 1:
1. You're Gonna Quit Me (acoustic) (Bob on harp) - written by unknown (traditional) - small dropout at 0:15 - sound waves around a bit

Tangled & Twisted: The Blood Ballads : B+ (B+/B+)
This is a fan compilation of BOTT songs made by some people over at the Dylanpool site. The first disc has live and outtake BOTT songs in the order they present themselves on BOTT (with an extra Tangled Up In Blue at the end). Disc 2 has some alternate takes of some of the songs. Because it's a fan compilation, sometimes one can hear when one track goes into the next just a bit and also I have some of these tracks on other recordings in better sound quality, but it's extremely well done nonetheless. The only major thing I can think of is it should have had the Tangled Up In Blue from '78. Other than that, this is a great compilation of live and outtake BOTT songs.

"If My Thought Dreams Could Be Seen" : A (B+/A)
This bootleg's concept is to put together a bunch of TV appearances that Bob has made. The sound quality rating for each individual track is in brackets and quotation marks after the song as shown in this example: ("A"). There are two songs (Boots Of Spanish Leather and Across The Borderline) on track 9 (Boots Of Spanish Leather does flow into Across The Borderline, so this kind of makes sense). The soundboard mixing is terrible at the very start of Boots Of Spanish Leather (Richard Thompson's guitar is louder than Bob). There is also mic feedback at the VERY end of Answer Me (in the last few notes). The biggest problem with this bootleg is that the final track, Blowin' In The Wind, is much too slow; I've got two other different bootlegs with it on it and it's faster.
The first three songs from the Great Music Experience in '94 are in awesome sound quality here. I can't say which songs are highlights because they're all (except the last track) GREAT! WOW! Pancho & Lefty and Hard Times are both awesome. Soon, from the Gershwin Gala, and the three songs from Bob's Letterman appearance in '84 are awesome! The rest are great too (except the last track) - all I'm really doing is saying which are my absolute favourites and the reasons why I seeked out this bootleg.
1. A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall (acoustic) (orchestra) ("A")
2. I Shall Be Released (acoustic) (orchestra) ("A")
3. Ring Them Bells (acoustic) (orchestra) ("A")
4. Forever Young (acoustic) ("B")
5. Pancho & Lefty (acoustic) (sung with Willie Nelson) ("A-") - written by Townes Van Zandt
6. Hard Times (acoustic) ("A-") - written by Stephen C. Foster
7. Heartland (sung with Willie Nelson) ("B") - written by Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson
8. Chimes Of Freedom ("B")
9. Boots Of Spanish Leather (acoustic) ("A") - soundboard mixing is terrible at start
Across The Borderline (acoustic) (Bob on harp) ("A") - written by Ry Cooder, John Hiatt, and Jim Dickinson
10. Answer Me (acoustic) (Bob on harp) ("A") - written by Gerhard Winkler, Fred Rauch, and Carl Sigman - mic feedback at very end
11. Soon (solo acoustic) (Bob on harp) ("A-") - written by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin
12. License To Kill ("B")
13. Don't Start Me Talking ("B") - written by Sonny Boy Williamson

From The Vaults - Volume 1 : A- (B+/A)
This set compiles live songs posted on www.bobdylan.com from '92-'98. Most are sourced from a source with great sound, but because they were taken from www.bobdylan.com's RealAudio, they aren't in perfect sound. Nonetheless, this is the only way you can find some of these recordings, some of them in soundboard quality. Wowee, the three soundboard Supper Club songs makes this worth getting all on their own! And everything else here is super! These are great great versions of the songs. There are three extra tracks on the end of disc 2 which aren't on the original copy of this compilation - they were put there by the person from whom I obtained this. Gates Of Eden and One Too Many Mornings are both mp3-sourced and the trader's not sure about Idiot Wind. I can leave these off or include them on this set if I were to set it up in a trade.
