Complete Last Waltz : A (A/A)
This was The Band's farewell concert. Disc 1 is all The Band, discs 2 and 3 are both The Band with guests (and there were many guests!), and disc 4 is the disc with Bob on it (as well as the final songs). The Instrumental Jams near the end of disc 4 are 12 min and 17 min long! The idea behind The Complete Last Waltz was to present the concert as it was performed, which means that it's presented in the original order, without overdubs, and with all of the songs that were performed that night (the official release omitted 19 tracks - however, the official release also adds some bonus tracks that weren't performed at the concert). This is sourced from the soundboard. All the performers do quite well. Bob comes on and does a very good job. This bootleg acts best as a companion piece to the official The Last Waltz.
