03/02/01 Yokohama, Japan : A (A/A)
If You See Her, Say Hello with the fiddle is unbelievably good, and it's a nice touch to have it followed by another Blood On The Tracks song: Simple Twist Of Fate. Silvio is a very good rockin' song, and it sounds very different here...it's really quite cool. Like A Rolling Stone is done with a lot of energy. This show's very good. Unfortunately, there are two small skips in Forever Young.

Desolation Row, John Brown, Don't Think Twice, Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat, and the encore set are quite well done. Visions Of Johanna is also pretty good, ending with an awesome harmonica part. There are several rarer songs that were played at this concert (such as Absolutely Sweet Marie, Can't Wait, and Seeing The Real You At Last - to name a few). I LOVE the way he sings, in Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again, the part that starts with: "Awwww, c'mon now...you must know about my debutante"! I also LOVE the way that Love Sick ends: "I'd give anything to, just beeeeeeeeeeeeeee, with you".

This show doesn't really have any stand-out highlights; the whole show is pretty good all-around. Tears Of Rage, up to the last verse, is well done. Watching The River Flow is also well done. Dylan's guitar solos get a bit annoying at this show.

The first acoustic set (Roving Gambler, The Times They Are A-Changin', and Desolation Row) are all well done, as is If Not For You. This is another show with no real stand-outs; they're all pretty good.

03/12/01 Nagoya, Japan : B+ (B/B+)
The last four songs on disc 1 and the first two on disc 2 are very well done. Knockin' On Heaven's Door is also very nice. Unfortunately there is, if one listens closely, a small indication of when one track ends and the next begins.

This show is quite good overall. Highlights are Every Grain Of Sand, 'Til I Fell In Love With You, and I Want You. Stuck Inside Of Mobile is also quite good. There are two static glitches (both fairly minor, one very minor) as described below.

This Mr. Tambourine Man uses the same style of great phrasing as the 'famous' Towson Tambourine Man had from last year (though it's not quite as good - but it's still pretty cool). Unfortunately, there's a little bit of static in Desolation Row, but it's very very minor (almost not worth noting). There are five songs from Time Out Of Mind performed at this concert. Rainy Day Women is very much full of energy this show. The Knockin' On Heaven's Door uses different chords than 'normal' - and it's very interesting (though it still sort of sounds like it's a work in progress at this stage - but, nonetheless, it's very cool).
Disc 1:
1. Duncan And Brady (acoustic) - written by unknown (traditional)
2. Mr. Tambourine Man (acoustic) (Bob on harp)
3. Desolation Row (acoustic) - a very little bit of static at one point
4. Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again (Larry on acoustic guitar)
5. Tryin' To Get To Heaven
6. 'Til I Fell In Love With You
7. Mama, You Been On My Mind (acoustic)
8. It's All Over Now, Baby Blue (acoustic) (Larry on pedal steel)
9. Tangled Up In Blue (acoustic)
Disc 2:

9. Highway 61 Revisited
10. Blowin' In The Wind (acoustic)

For some reason, track 7 leaves the usual instrumental part of the song on the end of track 6, and starts instead at the first verse instead. Bob's vocals are very nice for Don't Think Twice. This show features several of the lesser played songs (ex. Chimes Of Freedom, Tell Me That It Isn't True, Highlands).
Disc 1:
1. I Am The Man, Thomas (acoustic) - written by Ralph Stanley and Larry Sparks
2. Chimes Of Freedom (acoustic)

8. Masters Of War (acoustic)
9. Tangled Up In Blue (acoustic)
10. Make You Feel My Love
11. Drifter's Escape (Bob on harp)
12. Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat - fades-out at end
