Bob's just on this show. Right from the get-go when he's delaying and pulling out the "Been on the job...tooooo long!" in Duncan And Brady, to the stretched out "the skeleton keeeeeeeys, and the rain" in Visions Of Johanna, to the very interesting (but small) lyrical change in Tangled Up In Blue, to the simulated sound of a lightning bolt during Drifter's Escape, to one of the best Love Sick endings ever, to an awesome version of Things Have Changed and I Shall Be Released, to the live debut of If Dogs Run Free, this show's just awesome. The audience is remarkably quiet on this recording, and it's just a great listen. If you like 2000, get this one. The highlights of this bootleg are Fourth Time Around, Tryin' To Get To Heaven (the re-arranged version), The Wicked Messenger (very very rockin'!), If Dogs Run Free, and the beautiful I Shall Be Released. Actually, the whole show's really good. It's recommended.

Tomorrow Is A Long Time is beautiful, and Ring Them Bells is nice (but Bob messes the lyrics up). Other highlights are Can't Wait, Just Like A Woman, and 'Til I Fell In Love With You. During the electric songs, Bob's vocals aren't as upfront as I would like.

This show has the really neat re-arranged Tryin' To Get To Heaven. The rest of the show's pretty good, with the crowd joining in with the singing once in a while (and it's kind of magical sounding).

This is a great concert. Bob's singing's quite good and he seems to be very into it. The Times They Are A-Changin', Just Like A Woman, Most Likely You Go Your Way And I'll Go Mine, Highlands, and Drifter's Escape are all highlights. There is great guitar work on Highway 61 Revisited! Unfortunately, there is a bit of distortion at the beginning on Drifter's Escape. There is also a bit of this distortion in Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 (and a little bit throughout disc 2...it's pretty insignificant).

This concert is a very nice concert all-around; the show's consistently good so I can't really single out any highlights. The acoustic set perhaps has a slight edge over the electric set, in my opinion. The version I have is sourced from the better sounding Crystal Cat version.

09/24/00 Portsmouth, England : B+ (A/B+)
The sound quality's excellent on this bootleg. Bob's vocals are very upfront. This is the better of the two Portsmouth shows, in my opinion. Visions Of Johanna, Mama You Been On My Mind, Can't Wait, Gotta Serve Somebody, and If Not For You are all treats. Fourth Time Around's also very nice. In Gotta Serve Somebody, we might be Sting or Bono, but we've still gotta serve somebody! Between each song there is a minimally small skip and it is so insignificant that I won't take a letter grade off for it (it really is very insignificant - I can't stress this enough).

09/25/00 Portsmouth, England : B (A/B)
The sound quality's excellent on this bootleg. Bob's vocals are very upfront. The Ballad Of Frankie Lee And Judas Priest is done very well. Tryin' To Get To Heaven (the new arrangement), Drifter's Escape, and Everything Is Broken are all highlights (even though Bob can't really remember the words on Everything Is Broken...). Between each song there is a minimally small skip and it is so insignificant that I won't take a letter grade off for it (it really is very insignificant - I can't stress this enough). And this is the concert in which Bob makes up and mumbles an entire verse in Tangled Up In Blue; it's pretty funny (because it is incomprehensible)!

1. Hallelujah, I'm Ready To Go (acoustic) - written by unknown (traditional)
2. Mr. Tambourine Man (acoustic)

On this bootleg, there is an interesting echo effect and although I took the grade down one because of it, it can almost be said to sound good. I actually think it does because, in a way, it gives me (as a listener) the feeling than I'm there.

10/29/00 Madison, Wisconsin : B+ (A-/B)
This is a good show, but nothing more really. There are a few of the rarer songs in the electric set. The Tomorrow Is A Long Time is awesome (but I really like that song). All Along The Watchtower from the encores is great.
