This bootleg is most definitely worth having! An awesome show. It makes Roving Gambler sound good and full of energy. I just love the current arrangement for It's Alright, Ma. The show's constantly very good up to song 8. This is where it really takes off (with the exception of song 6, Gates Of Eden, which is absolutely awesome!). A very good version of Things Have Changed is followed by a nice and rare version of Down Along The Cove (he only performed this song twice in the year 2000). Switching discs now, we hear a smooth Every Grain Of Sand (he also only played this song twice in 2000). And, after this, Dylan and the band take off into an unbelievable version of Cold Irons Bound! This new arrangement is just so great. The rest of the show is done nicely. (By the way, you can't hear 'Lola' on the acoustic guitar on Like A Rolling Stone...but she was there! :-) There were stories about her posted on the Internet at the time.)
The taper is changing sound levels and stuff during Roving Gambler, so it starts off quietly but becomes progressively louder until the CD reaches more appropriate volume levels. Another very unfortunate problem is that the sound tends to move back and forth between speakers; at one time the right speaker will be louder and then at another the left speaker will be louder. This is not a problem if you listen to it on a system in which the speakers are fairly close together. It might get annoying if you listen to it on discman, but it's not too distracting. This show's great and I listen to it on anything I can! The only other problem is that there are small gaps between each song on disc 1 (not so much a gap as quick click sound). (This show would've got an A-, but I lowered it because of the aforementioned reasons.)
The Stuck Inside Of Mobile from this concert is one of the better ones I've heard from 2000. When Bob introduces the band, he says that David Kemper is "one of the very few drummers who's better than no drummer at all". Also, at the end of the show, Bob comes back on stage after Blowin' In The Wind and says: "Thank you! I'm gonna remember this birthday for a while!". Just before Ballad Of A Thin Man (while still on track 2 of disc 2), the crowd starts singing Happy Birthday. Bob comes on and says "Thank you". I have no idea what the German guy at the end of disc 1 says or why this is there.

This is a very good show. Bob's using a gentle, smooth voice again. This has the best Hallelujah, I'm Ready To Go I've heard, as well as a very good Gotta Serve Somebody. The Tryin' To Get To Heaven is very good (even though it isn't the lounge-lizard version), as is Tomorrow Is A Long Time. There's a bunch of rare songs here. The only real annoying thing is that the audience does this single, synchronized clap between songs; it sounds demanding and restless.
Disc 1:
1. Bob intro

This is the concert which fell on the same day as Bob's 59th birthday. Unfortunately, the quality's not very good. The sound quality's low (compared to other shows from 2000), and the crowd is too upfront. For the first two songs, the audience chatter is pretty annoying. The sound quality does pick up a bit after the first two songs.
Disc 1:
1. Bob intro
2. Roving Gambler (acoustic) - written by unknown (traditional)
3. Song To Woody (acoustic)
4. Masters Of War (acoustic)

7. To Ramona (acoustic) (Bob on harp) (Larry on mandolin)
8. Country Pie
9. Can't Wait
10. Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again
11. Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues
12. German guy (???) - no idea what this guy says or what this is from (not from concert)
Disc 2:
1. Drifter's Escape (Bob on harp)
2. Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat
encore:
3. Ballad Of A Thin Man
4. Like A Rolling Stone

8. Highway 61 Revisited
9. Blowin' In The Wind (acoustic)

The volume's a bit quiet on this bootleg, but this shouldn't stop you from wanting it (unless you don't have a volume control!). At times someone near the taper (or the taper?) is loud. Other than that, this show's great. Bob's using a softer sounding voice. He seems to be treating the songs very gently and tenderly (aside from the rockers, of course). Delia's just superbly well done. At the end of the song, someone yells "Do it again!". Another highlight is the very awesome Highway 61 Revisited.
