| The sides and inside shelves of the units were made out of MDF material and poplar was used to edge them. Poplar was also used on face framing. The two side bottom cabinets were topped with 3/4" cabinet grade birch plywood and edged with poplar along with the TV shelf of the center cabinet. The top cabinets and center cabinet were trimmed with cove molding. The center cabinet is 20" deep by 32" wide and 82" high. The two lower cabinets have two shelves inside for storage. They are 19" deep by 24" wide and 33" high. The two upper cabinets are glass enclosed with glass shelves and lighted to show off some more of Pat's miniature lighthouses. They are 14" deep by 23" wide and 24" high. The solid doors were made using 3/4" poplar for the frame and 1/4" cabinet grade birch plywood for the centers. The drawer front used 3/4" poplar. Everything then was the painted white, except for the top of the two lower cabinets and the TV shelf which received a "Minwax Wood-Sheen" finish. This is a rubbing oil stain & finish in the color Manor Oak.

|
This was made out of 1/4", 1/2" & 3/4" Poplar Hardwood lumber. The sides are made from ½" cabinet grade birch plywood. The top is 3/4" Poplar Hardwood lumber frame with a Masonite center painted with high gloss dark green paint. Polished brass hardware sets this table off with its hand rubbed oil/varnish finish.
The side of End Table has a small magazine rack. There is a slide out shelf just under the top and it looks like the top with its Masonite top painted with high gloss dark green paint.
The top drawer is a 3" deep. The bottom drawer pulls out to make a large magazine drawer. It has three false drawer fronts. All the drawers are full extension. |

| I made these five cabinets using poplar and shop grade birch plywood. The sides and shelves used the 3/4" shop grade birch plywood. The front edges of the shelves were edged with 3/4" x 1-1/4" poplar. The units were tied together with 3/4" x 3" poplar upright pieces, which I fluted. Doors used poplar and 1/4" birch plywood or glass. All five cabinets were topped off with a cove molding. Three of the five cabinets have lights installed and glass shelves to show off some more of Pat's collections. The insides of the lighted cabinets and just the back sides of the book cases were painted "April Love" a very light shade of pink, the rest of the cabinet was painted white.
