Introducing Shelly

Ch Anji's Sea Shell de Alcedo (Imp US)

Shelly is an outstanding bitch who arrived in Australia in 1998. She is the most significant bitch in Australia's development of the Portuguese Water Dog. She has now retired from the show ring and has finished her breeding program.

Four puppies from her first litter were shown, all to their championship, and have continued to have consistent wins through their show careers. Archimedes is presently well on his way to becoming the first Australian bred Portuguese Water Dog Grand Champion.

At least seven puppies from Shelly's second litter are in the show ring, with a significant number of excellent wins. Shelly has two pups from her third litter now in the ring.

Shelly's hips have been rated as "excellent", or as my vet said, "fantastic, excellent, couldn't have better!" Her latest CERF indicated no problems. Due to the fact that she is fed an all natural diet, we would be very surprised if this bitch was ever affected by such diseases as Hip Dysplasia or IBD.
