a Breeder's Note

We bred the first litter of PWD's in Australia, which scared, humbled, and excited us. Due to the large litter size of our bitches - which we attribute to a raw natural diet (no commercial dog food !) - we have bred over 50 PWD's. Over 20 of these are now on their way to an Australian Championship title, or have already achieved this award.

With the knowledge we are learning, we consider it imperative we share this information, and we work closely with a number of both experienced and new people to the dog world to facilitate further breed knowledge.

We breed carefully and in partnership. It is very hard to introduce a new breed to a country, and it is critical those we show are of top quality. We demand those dogs we breed from are the best quality, and have proven themselves of both sound body and mind. And with a very limited gene pool, this is a breed you have to go into with your eyes open.

Importantly our dogs are proving to be winners with their new owners, who often describe the Bluegrace pwd as better than any other dog they have ever owned. We relish and celebrate the success of our dogs whether it be in the show ring, or just as being fabulous companion dogs, bringing joy and happiness to their new guardians.
