Basil has a super temperament, and until recently sported the long shaggy lion trim. However, to the shock of his family, Basil has received his first adult hair cut, and is now sporting the short and regal lion trim, which is very easy to manage. The is the very furry Basil, picture taken at just under 12 months of age. The curly coat is nearly impossible to maintain as a long coat, hence the need to cut it back at between 9-12 months of age.

In the ring, Basil recently attained a 10 point BOB, and a Best Junior in Group. Naturally his family were bursting with pride. We're looking forward to Basil shortly attaining his championship, and going on to more success in the ring. For those who know our lines, Basil is very similar in type to Arco and Bronson.

Basil is another of our fabulous champions, who will mature at 3-4 years of age when he will be magnificent. We look forward to his continued success so he can bring home more ribbons to add to the plethora Jenny has collected so far.

One of our success factors at Bluegrace is when lovely dogs like Basil live with the lovely families such as where he is. It's wins all round when that happens.
