Gee, the Blue Jays seem to be selling everything but the Skydome lately. (maybe that's next) Wasn't it not even a year ago that someone went on TV claiming that they will bring back the glory days? Is this what they have in mind?
It's disappointing to see some great players leave. After all the trading has been done, who's gonna want to stay except triple A players?
Crying that the Canadian dollar is part of the problem only distances the public from the sport. Lobbying tax relief for a past-time or sport does not sit well with most tax-payers. It's time someone got a long-term plan. The Jays were just getting a good, young team that has competed for the American League pennant for the past several years. And now????? Where's the GLORY?
