To make your blinkie first go to my blinkie maker.  When you have made your blinkie, hit the button to the right of f12.  It should say print screen.  Now if you have downloaded Animation Shop open it. Hold down ctrl v and let go.  Go to the croping tool and make a square around your blinkie.  If you did this right, there should be three buttons.  Click the button that says crop.  Now click the copy button(edit then copy).  Go to edit-paste-after current frame.  Paste it as many times depending on how many letters you have(if you have 5 letters paste it 5 times). Now you should have all these frames in front of you.  So say i want my blinkie to move from letter to letter so what im going going to do is im going to do this:
Before you start, you need to have a program called Animation Shop which you can get here
I resized my image by scrolling the thing on my mouse(the little scrolly thing if you have it) and flood filled the letters the way i wanted them to move.  For example, say i wanted to have a background color move across my blinkie.  So i would first flood fill in the first background of the first letter(B) and then the E on the next frame(f:2) ect.  When you have finished click the second to last button which looks like a film strip.  Or go to view-animation.  Tada!
