I do hope that you find some of the family information I've been gathering to be of help or of interest to you. I've just run across an error created by GED2WWW - some of the Blickensderfer names were misspelled. Guess it couldn't handle the length. But it means that I had to remove the database here and refer you to the one on Rootsweb for a while. The database was uploaded on Rootsweb December 2008. There are errors -- I know of some and are fixing them as I find time. There certainly are others that I've simply missed. If you run across these, please let me know via e-mail to my Yahoo address: Blick_TX @ yahoo.com. Just remove the spaces -- I don't want it to end up in a SPAM list taken off this site.
Less than half of the names are well documented, so please don't depend on their existence here as a source for genealogical information. At best they should serve has hints, or a starting place for questions. The majority of the file came from other family historians -- not genealogical sources. We do love to share!
On the other hand, my children's direct lines back to 1800 have considerable primary documentation, so please feel free to ask.
All I ask in return is that none of this material be used for commercial purposes. I've had many of the photos copied and posted elsewhere, but the source wasn't referenced. If you do use any of the information, please reference and/or link to this site. Please let me know if you have any questions!
