The Oldest Gifts. Mother Earth all abound, Beautiful, loving, and strong, Father Sky by her side, Sturdy, gental, but protective, Together the greastest love and beauty they hold, As I live my life by walking with them, I see a world that has tried to destroy them, And I relise now why the secrects were kept, And I am amazed how strong they still are, They find many ways to grow and show their love, Such wonderful stories they have told us, And new ones they have to share, All we have learned from them, So much still unknown to us, If we stop and listen we will learn many wonders, And will find the magick in our souls, Take care of them and all they have given us, Just look out side at the gifts around us, Try to protect all those gifts, Welcome their love and the responceabilitys that come with doing so, Understand we are a part of nature, But only a very small part, Welcome the ever changing cycles of the world, Gather at least eight times a year to celibrate, To learn and laugh, Understand growing old is a wonder to behold, With age comes wisdom and respect, Try to respect all around you, Find a way to love everyone, Harming none less in self defence it be, Share all we have learned, Do not be afrid to ask that wich we do not know, To be always learning and shareing, And if it's a part of your very soul, The way you live you life everyday, It's the only way you feel you can ever live your life, Then will those of the old ways gide you, Then will you learn some of the Goddess and Gods secrects, Then you can dream of your past lifes, And the ones yet to come, And in this life you can start to understand The Craft, And all of the wonders it holds, Life each day in perfect love and perfect trust in your soul, Careful what you do and know everything comes back to you, Respect all of nature and her gifts, Respect the sky and his great mysteries, Let them gide you, take the time to know them, May you always be blessed by their love.
