by the time you have got to this page you will have probably been to
"Our story"
and had a look at some of the dalmatians on our web site...

as well as the cute pics of puppies we have sold to others..

now...the serious stuff....
some information about us and our puppies..

We are members of the dalmatian clubs
of  NSW, QLD, Victoria & S.A 
and through these clubs we are kept up to date with the latest things happening in the dalmatian world..

"Blairwick" is the prefix we use to register the dalmatians
we breed with our governing body for dogs,
the Royal NSW Canine Council Inc.

In NSW all puppies from a litter must be registered,
with either limit or main registration papers. 
All our show puppies are sold on main register 
and our non show puppies on limit register.

We plan well ahead for each litter and only go ahead with it when we have sufficient orders to warrant a litter of puppies.

If we do not have any puppies available or expected when you contact us
you can be assured that we will direct you to breeders
that have the same high standards that we do.
Our contacts covering an area from Cairns to Brisbane in QLD, through out NSW and  Canberra, Melbourne (Victoria) Adelaide  (South Australia) and Perth in Western Australia.

Our puppies are born inside and they & mum
remain inside until they are about 4 weeks old
..this enables us to keep a constant eye on them and mum.. 
it also has the advantage that
the puppies receive lots of cuddles,
visitors  and socialising
which is vital for their development.

Later when they are ready for the big wide world
they and mum have a separate area in our yard 
where they get plenty of fresh air and sunshine..
but still come into the house with us regularly
(and socialise with our two cats as well!!!.)

We BAER test our puppies and our incidence of deafness
from our breeding has been very minimal.

They are raised on a raw food diet,
which we have found gives them (and our adults dals) 
optimal health with a strong immune system and new owners are encouraged to continue with this diet.

We live halfway between Sydney & Newcastle 
and have had
new owners keep up to date with the puppies' progress by 
photos and video &
some have also chosen their puppy this way if they are unable to make the trip themselves. 

Distance has thus far not been a problem,

(we have sold puppies this way to Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart & many towns in between these !!!!
and overseas to Japan & New Zealand)

most puppies being transported by car if possible or for longer distances by plane,
which is a cheap and convenient means of transport.

All our puppy buyers receive a detailed diet sheet, 
written advice about raising the puppy and 
keeping it in good health 
and some basic obedience training information.

We strongly encourage our puppy buyers to attend some type of basic obedience training with their puppy so that it grows to be a socially well behaved dally in later life.

If you are in our area we are happy to help you out with this, if not, we can supply you with obedience clubs in your area that have obedience or puppy classes.

We will give you help, 
guidance and support 
throughout the life of your dog 

and we like to keep in contact with our puppy buyers regularly to ensure that the puppy is everything that they desired.
