The dream below occurred in 2004. As I was preparing for a huge board exam and had a few days off, I immediately drew the whole dream out in charcoal as to a) get it out on my mind and b) procrastinate just a little bit longer. As a further procrastination tool, I scanned the images over the course of about a week. The images were posted in sequence on a "secret" site a few weeks later, with few comments. Rightly so, as the link had been passed out to just a few people. The page was then taken down, for fear a friend would see it and wonder why I hadn't been studying for NAVLE like everyone else. Wee!!!! Definately a fangirl!
Now, a few years later, the images are up again. Please note that I am not a comic artist, or really any sort of artist. These are just a few sketches. Having said that, I hope these few humble images portray what vivid images were going through my head that night I've kept the use of colour to a minimum in hopes that the charcoal images will be more dramatic with only hints of shade. Thoughts? Comments? |
