ACT 3 OVERRUN

Helicopter Super Six Eight was roping in the CSAE group at the first helicopter crash were it had to hold a few seconds longer because someone forgot to kick out the essential kit bags first so they had to wait and them out. Those few extra seconds were just enough time for someone to get an RPG fired and hit the left side of the helicopter. Luckily Jollata, the pilot of Super Six Eight, held the helicopter still so the men on the ropes could get to the ground before taking off back towards the field, but Super Six Four didn’t get back to the field, it went down across the city about a mile away. The good news was that they landed right on its shock absorber, but the CSAR team had already roped in on the first helicopter crash and Somalia’s were already coming towards the. Their only really protection was from the two little birds and Black Hawk Super Six Two from the air, but they couldn’t hold the crowd off for long and it did not look good for a chance for a ground convoy to get to their helicopter anytime soon.

The second helicopter crash had a significant impact on the scene. It was the start of showing how much this plan had turned against the Rangers and the Deltas. Yes, the first helicopter crash was bad but by that time they still were alright, just a little glitch in the plan but now they had no way  of getting a ground crew to the second helicopter crash and Somalians were growing around the downed helicopter with only a few helicopters in the air trying to keep them at bay.

Lycopolus why did you do that? How could you forget to pull off the safety on the grenade? It isn’t like that was the first one that you threw, not even the first on that day. Also whoever is running this whole thing, why couldn’t you just send over another helicopter to the second helicopter crash to keep the Somalians at bay? Especially when you found out there were survivors and the helicopters over there were having trouble keeping the Somalians back. Couldn’t you just send over another helicopter until some ground crew could get there with help for the crash survivors?

Also why do some of the Rangers act all surprised when they get shot? They do know they are in the middle of a battle field right? Weren’t they trained?

Neatherly says “Damn, Sergeant, I hope they send me home for this.” Thomas asked him “does it hurt?” Neatherly told him “Hell yeah! I’m alright though, I do believe in God.” “That’s okay.” said Thomas. “He believes in you, too.” I like this quote because to stand there and ask someone that just got shot this kind of stupid question you must be very arrogant. Someone just got shot and is bleeding really bad and someone is going to sit there and ask if they are okay. That’s just bizarre. It’s kind of funnier than it is stupid. I also like it because any time you are around a man and you get hurt there is a 90 % chance that the man will ask if it hurts.

The relationship between the characters is strong. They all look out for each other. One thing that shows that they look out for each other is when Thomas was freaking out when one of his men had got shot in the head. “We’ve got a head wound. We have to get him out!” Then Steele asked him” is he one of ours?” Thomas shouted back, “A Delta guy.” But Thomas was also distressed because that was his first time seeing some one shot in the head.

I feel sorry for Thomas. I just saw someone with their brains on the side of the road. Then when I ask them to call for help and tell them that we need to get him out they ask me is it one of ours. Like it really matters. Their head is probably not on right or they bumped it when they woke up. There is no way that I would say that a Somalia needs help. They are killing our men or seriously injuring them left and right it seems.ACT 4 THE ALAMO

“Scott, why don’t you get behind the Kevlar?” “Good idea, “he said, I like these lines because instead of getting behind something that can protect him he stays out in the open. I also think that it is sort of funny the way that the statement is put. It is kind of like saying hello are you going to stay out there and hope you won’t get hit or are you going to get behind the shield.

I have a question for Schmid. Was it easy putting the fact that you had to hurt your best friend in order to save him to the side? Or was it just the opposite was it harder to put aside considering that it was you that were going though so much pain? Knowing how much pain he was going though did you ever want to just pick up your gun and start shooting every Somalia person you saw? Or were you just paying to much attention to Smith that it never crossed your mind?

I feel sorry for Schmid. My best friend has been shot and is now going through a tremendous amount of pain. He is bleeding extremely bad and it does not look like it is going to stop. There is nothing I can do about it. This makes it even harder to stand there and watch him go through all the pain. In a way I want to switch him spots so that I would be going through the pain and he wouldn’t.
