He became an adjunct professor at Layola College of Maryland where he taught writing and jounalism.He grew in Illinois, New York, and Maryland. He graduated from Layola College of Maryland in 1973, with a B.A. in English Literature. He lives in southeastern Pennsylvania. His son Ben is also a writer.
