This story was originally known as 'Guardian Tamers', updated frequently at the Sakura Star Interactive Fanfiction. Evolution was inspired by the guardians of Kinomoto Sakura, the Clow mistress from Cardcaptor Sakura and also by the well-known Pokemon and Digimon. Later, the title became 'Raydeva Tamers' before being improvised to 'Reideva Tamers'. We then decided to shorten the name a little and thus it became 'Evolution'.. Unlike those anime (Pokemon and Digimon), Reidevas get in touch with almost any type of human emotions.
What are Reidevas?
Basically, Reidevas are strange creatures with incredible powers that co-existed with mankind and our normal creatures. Partner Reidevas are only one-of-a-kind and they are much stronger than most Reidevas. Reidevas have also been used and neglected. Therefore, the Eartherrens created 5 beasts with the goal of making them the strongest. They suceeded but the 5 Reidevas escaped and brought those Reidevas who are still wild and free to create a world called Universal Unknown.
Some Reidevas are specially structered with certain genes, some are cloned and some are just further evolutions of today's animals.
Where is it taken place?
This story takes place in reality where creatures with incredible powers live harmonously with ordinary creatures. Scientists experimented on them and found out that these Reidevas could be controlled and bred by people. Those who capture and train them for battling are called 'tamers'. Reidevas can be also used for breeding. But than again, not all Reidevas are caught, many of them still live in the wild.
Universal Unknown and how to capture Reidevas
Universal Unknown is similar to our world in most ways but there are no rules of society like ours. They have almost their own culture. The principle of the survival of the fittest is known plenty to the residents of Universal Unknown: The strong shall live and the weak shall die, in other words, Universal Unknown is a cruel place and has a harsh reality of a strong-eat-weak tradition. To protect themselves from stronger Reidevas, the weaker Reidevas must find a tamer but in order to go to the real world, must achieve their highest strength possible. These victors would appear in the tamer which they wish to be trained under's, dreams. If that person accepts them to be under their leadership, that Reideva will be reborn under their command. Some Reidevas who just happened to find themselves in the real world are called the 'Feral Ones' and create havoc for the real world until they get themselves a tamer.
