Up to date build up info:)
Well, I have not updated my web page in awhile so here it is...........
After about a 3 months of thinking after I came back home to california, I finally set out to do a YJ Shackle reversal. I made a fast moke up of  one. It seemed to work well, but it just did not look right for my taste. During that process my mind kept flip flopping all over the place and really slowed my progress:(  So I put everything on hold till my wife and I coould find a house of our own, and in So Cal that's not an easy task on an E-5 budget! .... more time down.

We found a house closed escrow, and I was off to the races! Well the snail races anyway. After getting the shop squared away I kept looking at those dinky Samurai axles, so I said fawlk it! Did some research and now lets find some Toyota axles. I picked some up at a fair price and got to work.

First off I wanted to redo the shackle hangers for the YJ's, my other looked like crap, mostly because I made them for a Missing link set up and slapped hangers on the end:p
New front hangers, you can see in the pic below that I welded in some nuts in the frame exention to mount my bumper
While I was going to rebuild the Toyota axles, I decided to shave them for additional clearence
front hangers done and axle completed
I also decided that I'd try hydro assisit steering, basically your using a hydrolic ram or cylinder to push and pull the tie rod side to side
Just some sad sack update pics:)
I these are just a few "play shots of us 'testing" the cycle of the rear coils
These shot's are on a 38" tire
These shot's are on a 39.5" tire
