" Irene". Irene was the code word for the launch for the mission and this was imortant because if there was'nt a code word then there would'nt be a mission to start of with if they didnt know when to start to do what they needed to do.(ch.1,pg.5)
"Tier one personalities". This was the name of the big men that the task force identified them as. If they didnt know who they were they would have been hard to identify.(ch.1,pg.8)
"Rangers lead the way". This was our motto. So they had an order about things and were really organized in a way so they wouldnt get confused or crazy about things.(ch.1, pg.5)
"Be all you can be". The soldiers were all earnest, patriotic, and idealistic so they were all up to this battle. So when they say this, that means do what you can and good luck at the same time.(ch.1, pg.5)
"Hoo-rah" This was the motavation that word that they would say to eachother and also a way for them to also say good luck and be careful all at the same time.(ch.1 pg.9)
"skinnies" This is what we called the somalis. This is also a way to indentify the people we needed to know.(ch. 1 pg.10)
"Those tires, have they been burning this morning when we woke up or did they just light them, over?" this was the question that someone asked because they were all concerned that they might be running into an ambush. (ch.2, pg.12)
"No Fear" was the quote what they told everyone when they were getting off the aircraft. Its important because its good to lift their spirits. (ch.2, pg.16)
"What do you mean you cant get him?" were the last words until....(ch.2, pg.18)
"Man down, WE NEED TO EXTRACT HIM ASAP!" were the words that they heard after a long quite moments. Which they had later found out that Eversmann had been burned and needed help asap.(ch. 2, pg. 19)
" We keep picking him up and putting him down like this and we're going to kill him" This quote was said when they were trying to save and rescue Eversmann.( ch.2, pg. 21)
"Like a ride on a rollar coaster at six flags" This was said when Coperal Jamie Smith describes what the fights of that battle was like... but soon enough it got old. (ch.3, pg.24)
"He's not dead!" This was said by McKnight about the head informant who had shot himself in the head because of all the pressure that he had been going though with all of this happening and not thinking he was going to make it.( ch.3, pg.25)
"Quick Reaction Force" [QRF] The people would tell QRF to go arrest the UN ployees. So they were incharge of alot of thing having to do with the mission as well as everyone else. (ch.3, pg.32)
"Roger" This what Garrison had told Lechner when he asked if he was getting the rockets today. Garrison had replyed with "Roger" with an agressive voice because he was eager to get the somalis back. Then again with all that went on, I would want to get back at them too! (ch.3, pg.34)
I picked these Quotes because these seems to be inportant in the first parts in the first act (Assult) and seems to be just as important as the others in this act. They all seem to all play apart of how they all act towards eachother and their Country.
