The Helicopters

There are many different kinds of helicopters the first helicopter flew around 1933, after many months of ground testing in 1953 a helicopter called the SUD Aviation S.E a Lovett II was flown this helicopter could carry four passengers, and could fly at a speed of 100 mph.  In 1969 the bell UH –1n was made this twin-engine version of the famous huey, flew by the U.S. marines in Vietnam.  This helicopter has two, six-barrel miniguns that are able to fire off 4,000 rounds of bullets in less than a minute.  Another helicopter is the Sikorsky HH-53c jolly green giant this helicopter was made in 1967, the jolly green giant is able to fly at a speed of 200mph also in 1967 the bueing vertol CH-47C Chinook was invented it could carry up to 20,000 pounds this helicopter can land on water or land extremely easy, also the Hughes AH-64 (1975) a helicopter that is similar to the black hawk, moreover this helicopter is armed with a laser guided missal that ranges greater than 3 miles.  Helicopters are used for many different thing during war they’re especially used for transporting goods like food, water, medical kits ect. They’re used for delivering different things back and fort and also most important they are used for rescuing people that have been injured.  There are also other aircraft like jet warplanes that help out like the tornado Gr, Mk 1 this jet can carry 4 1,000-pound bombs and also 2-drop tanks it will continue in service into the 21st century.  There is also the hawk series of 200 aircraft that will continue their service in to AD 2000 also the Aeritalia/ Aermacchi/ embrger AMX a joint Italian and brazilin program this aircraft is powered by a single 11,030 lb thrust rolls -Royce spay an can attain 723 mph and also can carry a war load of 8375 lbs these are only a few examples of helicopters and other aircrafts, like jet warplanes used in combat
