About a Person

Tulasee Daas Jee says that a person’s Vivek (ability of discrimination), Dharma (religion/duty) and Neeti (principles) should be Vimal (pure). How then Vivek and Vimal Vivek or VImal Dharm or Vimal Neeti are different?

1. Vivek can separate water and milk - Vimal Vivek can then use the milk and the water properly.

2. Dharma should be Vimal. It shouldn’t be used to attack or hurt anyone. For example if you tell a child to be off, that may be Vivek, but the way you tell the child to be off depends upon Vimal Vivek.

3. Neeti should be Vimal. In Mahaabhaarat the answers to the “Yaksh Prashn” could be given only by Yudhishthir, because his Neeti was Vimal. It’s when the “Yaksh Prashn” of society are answered by the Shakuni and the Duryodhan of society, then the problems begin, as their Neeti is not Vimal. Because Yudhishthir had a clean and clear mind while Shakuni and Duryodhan did not have their minds clean and clear.
