Dantavakra

Dantavakra was the son of one of Vasudev's (Krishn's father) sister. When he heard that Krishn had killed Shishupaal (Krishn's father's another sister's son), he came to Mathuraa to fight with Krishn. Krishn also came to Mathuraa to fight with him. Both had a great fight at the gate of Mathuraa Puree near Yamunaa River. In the end Krishn killed him with His Gadaa hitting his chest. He also got Parampad of Krishn.

Both Jaya and Vijaya, gatekeepers of Vishnu, were born as Raakshas because of Sankaadi Muni's Shaap, three times and got their death through Bhagvaan all the three times. First they were born as Hiranyaaksh and Hiranykashyap (killed by Varaah Avataar nd Nrasing Avataar respectively); second time they were born as Raavan and Kumbhkarn (both were killed by Raam); and third time they were born as Shishupaal and Dantavakra - although they were not born as Daitya as such, but still both were killed by Krishn. This was their last life so after that they got Moksh.

It is said that Bhagavaan Vishnu asked Jaya and Vijaya - "I have two options - you may be born on Earth as my devotee for 7 lives or as my enemy for 3 lives, which one do you prefer?" They said - "We do not want to be born 7 times as your devotee, we are all right to be born 3 times as your enemy, but we want one boon from you that when we are born on Prithvi, we do not forget our Gyaan and we should be killed by you only." Vishnu said - "So be it."
